"Having just bought a boat, my wife and I were looking for a place that we can really make our home base to boat. My wife had grown up on the Brazos river skiing and suggested we check out Indian Lodge. As a New Yorker, I hadn’t been out much to the “country” and was totally down to see what it was like. When we got there I was in total awe of the beauty of the property. I was so excited to finally be out of the city and really soak up everything. There are boat slips where you can keep your boat overnight and a really nice ramp that’s easy to get in and out of. Clayton and Jamie have been nothing short of amazing and were there for us when we had a bit of boat trouble on our ‘07 Supra. As new bot owners, it was really comforting to know that they were there to lend a hand or advice when it was needed. They have also been amazing hosts. The rooms themselves are always super clean so you know you can really relax after a nice long day on the river. We even got the chance to stay in one of their newly renovated rooms and it was really nice! All in all we’re grateful to have rediscovered Indian Lodge and it’s a great way to escape the city life. Very quiet, extremely safe and just all around excellent vibes. We’re excited to continue coming here every week during the summer season and making new traditions here!"

"We had a great weekend here. It’s quiet and peaceful, and the owners are so nice and accommodating. There’s a pool, playground, pavilion with comfortable seating, outside BBQ grills, and a fish cleaning station. You can launch your boat, go fishing, canoeing, kayaking and more. They have canoes, kayaks and life jackets you can rent. Our cabin’s kitchen has a full size refrigerator, microwave, sink and toaster. Dishes, silverware, paper towels, kitchen towels and bath towels are provided. We truly enjoyed our stay."

"We spent our Thanksgiving vaca there to make it easier for our family members that live nearer to Lubbock. The camping sites and the lodges were perfect for our family and we had the full use of the pavilion, the grills, the fire table and the grounds...even the dogs enjoyed the freedom given them to roam accompanied by their owners.
The owners, Clayton and Jaimie were absolutely wonderful and offered us the run of the grounds, the pavilion, and the entire area; those who wanted to could hike, rest by the fire, and had a table large enough in the pavilion to accommodate our family for the games we play. We will return!!!"

They were getting ready for the next weekend where they have almost every room booked, but they worked around our small crew so well that we barely even knew they were working/cleaning/preparing for the big week ahead of them. "We ride our horses along the trails that go through Indian Lodge, and I just love this place. The upper level rooms have a balcony that looks towards the Brazos River. They have a swimming pool, RV hook ups and, boat access to the Brazos River It has always reminded me of the movie "Dirty Dancing " just because it looks like something out of the 50'-60's and has such an inviting feeling to it. The new owners are always nice to us when he sees us riding through."
